Thanks to the generosity of Trust and Foundation funders throughout the years we have been able to significantly enhance the excellent care provided for local people in our community living with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Trusts and Foundations often choose to generously fund a specific project or service for St Cuthbert’s Hospice, or they can allow us to allocate grants to areas where we believe they will have the greatest impact.
We put working in partnership at the heart of our relationship with all our grant-makers, in order to achieve a genuinely shared purpose. We recognise our obligation to ensure that funding has been used as intended, and that it results in the maximum beneficial impact for our patients, their families and other carers. We seek to ensure that each new grant application that we submit to a charity builds on the outcomes of any previous awards made to St Cuthbert’s Hospice, and that the cumulative value added by grants steadily increases through time.
