Our beautiful gardens here at the Hospice were judged last month by the visiting panel of experts from Northumbria In Bloom. They arrived at the Hospice just after a heavy downpour but the sun quickly returned and the raindrops helped to give our flowers an extra sparkle. We can now proudly announce that we have been awarded a Gold in the Care Category. Durham City has also won the Regional Champion of Champions category and will now go on to represent the North East in the National Britain In Bloom Finals. The results will be announced on 14th October. We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our garden volunteers for their hard work towards winning this award.
